Hot is when you are holding a half burned, smoking wooden spoon over the bowl after stirring it.
Good point, Coffey. And we're talkin' horseradish hot, not chili. And this batch is well represented by this particular root.And I know that some folks can't handle "hot" no matter how it's served up.When you pass the fried chicken to me, they'll be a couple jalapeño peppers waiting anxiously on my plate. ;-)
