What a nifty little gadget .. doesn't even come with an instruction manual. You don't need one. Simple instructions on the box.
I plugged it into my USB port, and it installed the software on my PC. I followed the easy setup prompts .. then clicked [ACTIVATE]. Unfortunately, the account can take up to 2 hours to become active. So .. I'm waiting. Patiently.
Imagine .. a year of phone calls to anywhere in the US of A for only forty bucks. And I didn't even have to pay that. It's my Christmas present from Brother Dave & Sis-In-Law Shirley. Updates to follow.

That $40 for the MagicJack includes a year of "free" service. Each following year the cost is $20. Yep, anywhere in the U.S. and Canada for the entire 365 days.

ReplyDeleteIn fact I have my Magic Jack phone number forwarding to my house phone, and when he called my MJ number my house phone took the call.
I am pleased that the MagicJack is working out for you. It seems to present no hitches or glitches.
