wishing on a star

It's Monday again! Back to the grind or the grease. Wishing everyone a week filled with happiness and adventure.

  1. Hard Rock Cafe, huh?

    I would imagine that chain/tourist trap pales in comparison to Harrigan's.

  2. Truth to tell .. I've never been in a Hard Rock Cafe. Sharon & Lisa bought the t-shirt for me the day they drove into LA when we were vacationing in the Inland Empire several years ago.

    They also got tatts .. but they didn't buy one for me.

    And I agree .. HRC just doesn't have that grass roots class that Harrigan's does.

  3. I wore my L.A. Hard Rock shirt a couple of days ago. Not today, though...it's too cold, ha!

    Next time we go to L.A. I'll buy you a tattoo...more fart bubbles for your shark or something. ;-)

    I look forward to my week full of adventure. =)

  5. I once saw a HRC t-shirt that touted its presence in Budapest. I said to the guy wearing it, "I never dreamed that a Hard Rock Cafe would be found in Hungary."

    He claimed it was one of the best of the bunch.

    Given the choice, I would choose Harrigan's on a Friday night with family over any Hard Rock Cafe, even if in Estonia.

  6. @Lisa - More bubbles for my shark?! OK .. I'm up for that. And don't act like life ain't an adventure. ;-)

    @HoosierGirl - It's a "semi-rustic" look that I'm trying to achieve. It's even more authentic when I don't bathe for a few days. ;-)

  7. You say there's a HRC in Estonia, Brother Dave. Wow .. that would be a tough decision for me!
