I recall saying in a previous post that I wouldn't use an iPod to block out the sounds of the world. Well .. on my last 2 neighborhood walkabouts .. my iPod went with me. I really like the Phillips ear buds. I believe they were $28 and some change at Target. They're advertised as "Premium Sound" with "turbo bass."

I have really enjoyed listening to my tunes while taking my walks. And what the hell! I can still hear the dogs when they bark.

You'd think I'd be used to the taste of crow after all these years.
