a clever defacement
The bright yellow blob painted on the sidewalk quickly got my attention as I headed to my polling place .. the church on the corner. As I made out the name, I thought this guy must have some balls to paint his campaign ad on a public sidewalk. That is until I got close enough to read the disclaimer at the bottom.
David Esrati has the distinction of being the only person ever to be expelled from a city commission meeting under arrest for refusing to remove the Batman mask he was wearing. He's the kind of guy who would love to get arrested for defacing a public sidewalk.

It was "Lone Ranger Mask Night" at the commission meeting .. Esrati just had to make a political point and wear a different mask.
He sounds like he'd make the town board meetings exciting to watch on that obscure cable channel.
