Every so often a new word enters our vocabularies .. the latest seems to be "staycation." And that word appears to be exemplified on my side of the street by 3 back yards with new swimming pools this summer.
It's a warm sunny day, but these neighbor girls know how to stay cool.
The jet stream has dipped below our great state .. and that's bringing in cool dry air from our friends in Canada. My windows have been open all day.
Inside the ol' homestead it's quite comfy .. and I'm looking forward to the cool night air on my face as I slumber.
Don't know if it's worth a dollar more than the brand I usually buy at the supermarket .. maybe I paid for the name. But I'm gonna find out.
My mob are Cincinnati style chili aficionados. Poured over a bed of spaghetti .. and topped with onion and grated cheddar it's quite an enjoyable adventure for one's taste buds.
